Our April 25th 2023 release, v2023.08, introduces: faster outreach sending for both SMS and email due to caching; Account ID searching in Customer Trail; the "Delta" property for account updates to display which customer attributes changed, also in Customer Trail; and a very important change regarding the inclusion of quotations in your Exports.

Although not an immediately visible change, we have introduced additional caching in SMS and emails. This change is part of the wider initiative aimed at increasing message-sending rates and Platform stability.

Customer Trail

Previously you were able to search your customer trail via account key, phone number, or email address. However, many places in our system will also refer to customers by their Account ID. Most notably, downloading from your Dashboard will refer to customers with this Account ID, which is the primary motivation behind this change.To increase the usefulness of searching the Customer Trail when used in conjunction with that Account ID, you can now use it as a search parameter. Additionally , although there is already an existing Event for customer account updates, this release adds the Delta property to the Event. This will allow you to see a coma-separated list of the Customer Attributes updated at the time of the Event.

Settings, Quotations Exports are one of the key ways in which our system communicates with you and your systems. We have made a small but highly impactful change to the contents of your Exports. This change is the introduction of quotations around data which could contain characters that could break either your automation s handling the Exports, or viewing experience in a program such as Excel. Now, when an Export is created, if a piece of data contains a line break, or the delimiter that you have chosen for that particular Export, it will now be wrapped in quotations.
