This article documents how to create a schema through your browser. There are other methods for creating schemas such as queries as an example, which can be read about in the Snowflake documentation.

Log in to Snowflake if you have not already:

This assumes you already have your access configured, please read the Initial Setup Login Section of the Data Workspace Article for more information.

This details how to log in to Data Workspace through your browser. For information on using a database management system, please read the Snowflake documentation.

Navigate to the appropriate URL in your browser based on the region your instance of the Platform is located in:

Users would then select ‘Sign in using Auth0’ from the top of the login menu:

Users will then be prompted to sign into Auth0 using the same account that they use to access the application.

Set your role to the desired organization if you have not already:

Click your username in the top-left of the screen:

Mouse over “Switch Role” and then click your YOUR_DESIRED_ROLE:

You desired role is likely to be named SF_Prod_Org_MYORGSHORTCODE

Click Data in your left-hand navigation menu:

Click the database name that corresponds with your organization:

Click the + Schema button in the top-right of your browser:

Fill in the fields as you see fit and click Create in the bottom-right:
