Our March 26th, 2024 release v2024.07 introduced incremental improvements and a major improvement which is:

  • Introducing Symend’s New Brand to the platform’s design system.

  • Implementation of the Generation content feature.

Implementation of Symend’s New Brand

We are excited to introduce “Symend’s New Brand”, a comprehensive design system that will enhance the user experience across the entire platform and touchpoints. This implementation ensures a consistent and seamless interaction for both new and existing clients, offering a unified experience for all Symend users.

By building upon Symend’s existing brand foundation, the new brand system introduces exciting enhancements, including a defined set of logo guidelines, diverse logo variations showcasing the iconic Symend symbol, a neutral logo colour token, and various elements aimed at elevating the user experience. The design system patterns in Figma have been updated to seamlessly integrate these new brand elements, ensuring a unified and visually cohesive identity. Moreover, beyond the visual upgrades, the new design system has been seamlessly integrated into the code base, enabling a comprehensive implementation across all digital interfaces.

This strategic implementation of the new brand system signifies a significant leap forward in enhancing Symend’s visual identity and user engagement strategies. This refined version of Symend’s Brand encapsulates our message concisely and powerfully, setting the stage for a more impactful and engaging user experience. This refined version aims to capture the essence of the message in a more polished and impactful manner.

Implementation of Content Generation feature

We are thrilled to introduce the second component of the Content Assistant: the Content Generator. This feature simplifies and expedites the process of crafting effective text content for emails, text messages, and landing pages. Allowing users to quickly produce text blocks based on specific Behavioral Tactics, Tone of Voice, Personalization Tags, and Main Points.

The Content Generator is available across all channels within Content Builders beside the Content Analyzer. Enabling users to effortlessly align content to specific behavioral tactics and tones of voice, ensuring content meets the intended outcome. Elevate your content strategy and harness the full potential of AI with the Content Generator.

Key Enhancements:

Tailored Content Generation from scratch: Users can generate content based on specific inputs for every content type

Custom Tactic & Tone combination: Users can select a single behavioural tactic and tone to be combined into the desired content.

Personalization Tags Inclusion: A personalization tag selector is available to include specific tags when generating content that will be included in the outputs.

Seamless Content Insertion: The text generated can be effortlessly inserted at the end of any existing content in the text editor.

Content

  • Every time an Email, Text message, or Landing page is published, it’s analyzed and labeled behind-the-scenes with the top 3 Behavioral Tactics and the top 2 Tones of voice identified in the content.​

  • The labels are stored with a score indicating the relevance of the label, and these values can be analyzed to reveal insights about content effectiveness.

Exports

  • Export designers will no longer have the option to select event properties for filtering if they are already pre-filtered by the chosen events or the export schedule. This adjustment aims to streamline the configuration of export filters by minimizing unnecessary clutter and noise.

Custom Attributes

  • Data designers must now actively choose whether a Custom Attribute will contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) during creation, rather than being defaulted to "does not contain PII." This change prompts users to deliberate on the setting before attribute creation, fostering intentional decision-making and aiming to minimize errors.
